FIELD: solid hydrocarbon fuel production. SUBSTANCE: in a pressing-based method of fabricating peat fuel briquets, raw mass is simultaneously heated to 120-150 C and pressed in molding channel, raw mass constituting peat with water content not higher 20% (or 50-80 wt % of dry peat and water to the 100%). Briquets are pressed under pressure 3-5 atm in cone of molding channel with angle at its base 50-70 deg, and pressed mass is fed into distributive channels, their number being n = 1,2,3. Briquets can be used in household practice, in industry, and also as heat-insulation material. EFFECT: increased strength of produce. 4 cl, 2 dwg
