FIELD: production of briquetted fuel for use in household and industry, as well as, for use as heat-insulating material. SUBSTANCE: finely divided organic fuels and petroleum processing wastes are proportioned and mixed together, mixture is extruded in screw extruder by passing through conical extruding head piece having exit cylindrical channel, followed by drying. Novelty of method resides in following features: mixture is extruded from screw extruder under pressure 0.2-0.6 MPa; conical extruding head piece has conicity angle 60-65 deg. and is heated up to temperature 120-150 C; said organic fuels are peat, wood processing wastes, dung, manure and shale; and petroleum processing wastes are petroleum slime and bituminous wastes. EFFECT: reduced cost of valuable fuel produced from cheap materials or wastes. 2 cl, 2 dwg
