FIELD: analytical methods.
SUBSTANCE: sorption-spectroscopic method comprises sorption of gold(III) from hydrochloric acid solutions on polyurethane foam with rodanin preliminarily fixed thereon by chemisorption. Method can be employed for determining gold(III) in secondary raw materials and scrap, in natural raw materials, and in process solutions.
EFFECT: increased reproducibility and accuracy in individual determinations of gold(III) using express analyses.
