FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for determining gold(III) and secondary stock (electronic scrap), in natural scrap, and in process solutions. In claimed method including sorption of gold(III) from hydrochloric acid solution, this sorption is performed on cellulose preliminarily immobilized by o-carboxybenzene-azorhodanide, after which gold(III) is reduced with ascorbic acid of hydroquinone. EFFECT: increased accuracy of individual determination of gold(III) in rapid analyses. 1 tbl
