FIELD: machine engineering, possibly manufacture of cutting tools by notching teeth on hack saw locksmith's webs and files.

SUBSTANCE: on table of machine tool holder for blanks of hack saws or files is mounted. Chisel moves in vertical direction over said holder. Apparatus is provided with rod having stirrup and mandrel; springy lever with bent end is secured to mandrel by means of bolt. Tightening screw fixed by means of fastening nuts is secured to bent end of lever. One end of tension spring is joined with said screw. Other end of tension spring is joined with pressure lever having adjusting screw with locking nut. Pressing foot with rectangular groove is mounted in free end of mandrel. Free end of pressure lever is secured to pin fixed by means of locking screw in groove.

EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, improved efficiency of apparatus, enhanced quality of articles.
