FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: compass system comprises gyroscopic system with a gyroscope, servo systems for maintaining horizon and course, devices for horizontal correction with liquid pendulum transducer, magnetic correction of course with induction transducer, selecting magnetic declination, latitude correction, compensation of the gyroscope drift, first sine-cosine rotating transformer, and second sine-cosine rotating transformer. The gyroscope is made of a dynamically adjusting gyroscope that is a member of the system for maintaining horizon and course. The device for magnetic correction of course has integrating and adding amplifiers, modulators, demodulator, threshold device, OR logic circuit, electronic switches, and two diodes.
EFFECT: reduced sizes and mass and expanded functional capabilities.
