FIELD: precision instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision instrument making, namely to gyroscopic equipment, and can be used to design a system for compensating for temperature drift of a gyro direction indicator. Temperature drift compensated gyro direction indicator additionally comprises an average temperature sensor consisting of N temperature sensors placed inside the device housing, outputs of which are connected to a summing amplifier, the output of which is the output of the average temperature sensor. Output of the average temperature sensor is connected to the fifth input port of the microcontroller, wherein the systematic component of the drift from the temperature imbalance is formed by a given formula.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of gyro direction indicator operation at change of temperature inside the device.
