SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of railroads operation, namely to methods and facilities for automated monitoring of rolling stock parameters as control point is passed by along traffic route. Method to monitor integral parametres of rolling stock traveling along railway track: traveling speed, number of cars, track number, time of passing by control point of railway track, type of rolling stock, type of locomotive, estimation of car fill, in which force action characteristics of passing rolling stock are registered on surface or in body of ballast prism. Force action characteristics are registered with the help of vibration accelerometres, are saved in computer in the form of digitised amplitude-time characteristic of vibration accelerations and processed to obtain time ratios and frequency spectra of force actions, which characterise integral parametres of passing by rolling stock.

EFFECT: production of time ratios and force action spectra that define integral parametres of passing by rolling stock traveling in railway track.
