FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to testing equipment. Device comprises bed with motor arranged on it, driving shaft with installed on its end ref. sample in form of ring, to which due to radial force created by lever system of loading, is pressed by its side surface placed on end of one of levers of loading device sample, made in form of cylindrical roller or parallelepiped and having the possibility of axial movement in direction and under action applied to it on side of ref. sample force friction, which value is measured by force-measuring sensor placed in body of sample-containing lever and rigidly connected with sample in direction of action of friction force applied to sample from side of ref. sample, note here that clearance is made between specimen end surface and lever body wherein specimen is arranged on the side opposite to direction of action of friction force applied thereto to compensate for heat expansion of specimen caused by friction.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and reliability of measurements of friction values of tested samples of materials.
