FIELD: geophysics.

SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used at borehole logging. Device and method for measurement of electromagnetic property of ground bed are realized by usage of aerials of transmitters and/or receivers, which have to be time-dependent magnetic dipoles. Dipole moments of dipoles are oriented at angle to axis of borehole. Device is arranged to have many aerials, which have inclined or lateral oriented magnetic dipole moments. Device also has at least one current detector, unit for transmitting alternating current through one or more aerials and aid for calculation of scaling factor on the base of measurements of signal and alternate current scaling by scaling factor.

EFFECT: improved precision of results of logging.
