FIELD: logging with usage of antennas, magnetic dipole momentums of which are oriented at an angle to well axis and are meant for decreasing or suppressing unwanted axial electric current, induced along the well.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, antennas are positioned in the well on devices, having a non-conductive supporting element. Method includes creating an alternative path for current along the body of device. Another method includes emitting controlled current for counteracting unwanted current. One more method includes correction of current influence using superposition method. One variant of device contains conductive segment on non-conductive support close to antenna. Another variant of device contains first pair of electrodes for measuring induced electric field in the well and second pair of electrodes for ensuring passage of current between them. The first pair of electrodes is positioned between the second pair of electrodes. The antenna is located between the first pair of electrodes.
