FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: measurements are carried out by means of logging instrument containing first and second pair of aerials "transmitter-receiver". The first aerial of the first pair has a dipole moment tilted at angle θ1 relative to lengthwise axis of the logging instrument. The second aerial of the first pair has a dipole moment tilted at angle θ2 relative to lengthwise axis of the logging instrument. The first aerial of the second pair is located near the second aerial of the first pair and has a dipole moment tilted at angle θ1 relative to lengthwise axis of the logging instrument. The second aerial of the second pair is located near the first aerial of the first pair and has a dipole moment tilted at angle θ2 relative to lengthwise axis of the logging instrument. There is measured the first signal on one of the aerials in the first pair "transmitter-receiver" transmitted with another aerial of the first pair. There is measured the second signal on one of the aerials in the second pair "transmitter-receiver" transmitted with another aerial of the second pair. There is formed a combination of measured signals sensitive to anisotropy and to relative angle of dip of an underground reservoir.
EFFECT: obtaining combination of measured signals sensitive to anisotropy and to relative angle of dip of underground reservoir.
