METHOD FOR EVALUATING ADEQUACY OF CURATIVE ANALGESIA IN PATIENTS WITH ANGINOUS PAIN SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B5/16

Abstract RU 2279846 C2

FIELD: medicine, anesthesiology.

SUBSTANCE: one should additionally evaluate in points the rate of complete analgesia onset: 1 point - quickly, 2 points - slowly; the completeness of analgesia: 1 point - complete, 2 points - incomplete, but sufficient, 3 points - insufficient; duration of analgesia: 1 point - prolonged, 2 points - of average duration, 3 points - discontinuous; the availability of dangerous side effects: 1 point - nausea, 1 point - vomiting, 1 point - bradycardia, 1 point - hypotonia, 1 point - depression of respiratory center; take into account total state of health in patients: 1 point - good, 2 points -satisfactory, 3 points - bad; calculate the index of curative analgesia adequacy (index CAA) due to summarizing the points obtained, and index CAA value being 4-6 points analgesia is considered to be adequate. The present innovation enables to optimize the control for analgesia adequacy that, in its turn, enables to interrupt pain syndrome completely and prevent dangerous side effects of analgesia.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of evaluation.
