FIELD: apparatus used for motion in fluid media.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes forming the vertical lifting force by means of reciprocating motion of vibrating member; lifting height of apparatus during motion of vibrating member from top dead center to bottom dead center exceeds descent during free fall during motion of vibrating member from bottom dead center to top dead center. During motion of vibrating member from top dead center to bottom dead center, medium is sucked inside shell through open ports, thus changing the area of upper front surface of apparatus. During motion of vibrating member from bottom dead center to top dead center, medium is displaced through ports available in vibrating member. Vector of rate of lift of vibrating member coincides with that of apparatus; it is perpendicular to vibrating member plane and horizontal plane of apparatus.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of motion.
