FIELD: vertical takeoff and landing flying vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flying vehicle has fuselage, power plant, oscillating member and drive for reciprocating motion of this member for air support. Oscillating member is made in form of diaphragm on which points of surface may perform oscillations at various linear velocities. Diaphragm may be provided with mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic drive or may be actuated by gas-and-air jet. Flying vehicle may be provided with additional jet engines.
EFFECT: extended functional capabilities for vertical takeoff and landing flying vehicles.
