FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: diaphragm unit comprises housing, flexible flat or corrugated diaphragm secured inside the housing and control device. The control device has tension edge corrugation of the diaphragm, distance ring mounted over the periphery of the diaphragm, one or several conical slide blocks, micrometric screw, and reading device. The rigidity of the diaphragm is changed by rotating the micrometric screw that causes the slide block to move forward in the conical groove of the spacing ring. As a result, the diameter of the spacing ring increases, the tension corrugation of the diaphragm shrinks, and rigidity of the diaphragm increases. The angle of rotation of the micrometric screw is controlled by the reading device mounted on the housing of the diaphragm unit.
