FIELD: astrophysics, technology, based on Zeeman effect, possible use for study of dynamic and structural specifics of magnetic fields on the surface of Sun.
SUBSTANCE: invention solves the problem of more efficient usage of light flow during production of magnetograms of solar disk by means of magneto-optical filters. Aforementioned result is achieved, firstly, due to simultaneous passing of both Zeeman components by the system for construction of total image, and secondly, due to usage of light dissipated in magneto-optical filters for measuring strength of total magnetic field of Sun. Two-clock measuring mode makes it possible to utilize CCD matrices as optical demodulators, which are capable of accumulating modulated signals and do not require fast reading.
EFFECT: it is possible to decrease distorting influence of atmospheric instabilities by 1-2 orders.
