FIELD: separating dispersed particles from gases, particularly wet dust catching for dust-laden gas cleaning in chemical, textile, food, light and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: impingement scrubber comprises body, two inlet connection pipes for dust-laden gas introduction, outlet connection pipe for cleaned gas discharge, drop catcher, liquid vessel and drainage means. The inlet connection pipes are made as slot-like accelerating nozzles having narrowed parts in profiled plane. Vibratory means are located in upper liquid layers and connected to the body by means of flexible perforated diaphragm. The vibratory means is made as rectangle having dimensions defined by distance between accelerating nozzles axes and accelerating nozzle widths.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of dust removal.
