FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wet dust separation and may be used in chemical, textile, food and other industries for purification of gases. Scrubber comprises housing with conical and cylindrical parts and slime collector, dusty gas inlet and cleaned gas outlet branch pipes, sprayer made up of, at least, two external pipelines communicated with common fluid feed line, each being furnished with top and bottom nozzles lipped in the housing. Nozzles are made up of swirler-type atiomisers. Each atomiser consists of casing with inlet, a confuser, and throttle hole aligned therewith, and swirling chamber made up of cylindrical barrel with its axis perpendicular to said inlet and throttle holes axis. Inlet and throttle holes are arranged tangentially to swirling chamber. Nozzle insert is arranged aligned with swirling chamber to accommodate three calibrated holes made successively and aligned between themselves and with swirling chamber cylindrical surface: tapered, cylindrical and shaped. Nozzle insert cylindrical hole diametre equals that truncated cone top base and that of shaped hole cylindrical part.
