FIELD: metallurgy, namely austenite stainless steels resistant against oxidation and corrosion and operating in high-temperature and corrosion media, possibly used in members of motor vehicle exhaust system.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention variants of austenite stainless steels, articles of such steels and method for producing them are offered. Steel contains, mass %: chrome, 19 - 23; nickel, 19 - 23; molybdenum, 3 - 6 ; carbon, up to 0.1; manganese, 0 - 1.5; phosphorus, 0 - 0.05; sulfur, 0 - 0.02; silicon, 0 - 1.0; titanium, 0.15 - 0.6; aluminum, 0.15 - 0.6; copper, 0 - 0.75, iron and inevitable impurities. Articles of such steel feature high resistance against high temperatures up to 980°C and corrosion, for example in water with high content of chlorides.
EFFECT: improved properties of stainless austenite steel.
