FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to a composition of austenitic stainless steel having a yield strength of 43.4 to 53.7 ksi. Steel contains in wt%: up to 0.20 C, 2.0-9.0 Mn, up to 0.5 Si, 18.0-23.0 Cr, 1.0-5.5 Ni, up to 3.0 Mo, 0.05-0.35 N, 0.0005-0.01 B, (7.5 (% C)) ≤ (% Nb +% Ti +% V +% Ta +% Zr) ≤ 1.5, Fe and unavoidable impurities - balance.
EFFECT: high corrosion resistance, resistance to deformation at high temperatures, as well as ability to molding.
