FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the creation of titanium-based titanium alloys that have resistance to high-temperature oxidation, and can be used for the manufacture of products that work for a long time at high temperatures, in particular components of exhaust systems of vehicle engines. The titanium-based alloy contains, wt. %: aluminum 0.7-1.5, zirconium 0.5-1.5, niobium from more than 0.5 to 1.5, molybdenum 0.1-0.5, silicon no more than 0.5, iron no more than 0.2, oxygen no more than 0.15, carbon no more than 0.1, nitrogen no more than 0.03, hydrogen no more than 0.015, titanium and the inevitable impurities being the rest.
EFFECT: complex of high mechanical and operational properties is provided, including an increased level of resistance to high-temperature oxidation.
