FIELD: medicine, medicinal equipment.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with ways for monitoring arterial pressure and simplifying the realization of tonometric measurement of arterial pressure. The innovation is based upon measuring the pressure of a pulse wave received in the site of arterial output near skin surface, moreover, the reception of the pressure of pulse fluctuations should be fulfilled through a liquid chamber the area of which should be matched under condition of reliable overlapping the area of arterial position. During grading conducted for every patient it is necessary to remember the values of the upper Pau0 and the lower Pal0 arterial pressure, and, also, the amplitudes of A0i pulse fluctuations and the values of external pressure Pei, at which they were measured, moreover, the mentioned pairs of values should be obtained for the sequence of values Pei of external pressure being steadily distributed in the range from the zero up to the lower value of arterial pressure. In the course of measuring the obtained pairs of A0i and Pei values should be applied for scaling the amplitude of pulse fluctuations into the values of the upper and the lower arterial pressure by the following formulas: Paux= Pau0Ax/A0i for the upper arterial pressure and Palx=Pal0Ax/A0i for the lower arterial pressure, where Ax - the value of pulse wave's amplitude at measuring; A0i - the value of pulse wave's amplitude at grading taken from the table and which corresponds to the value of squeezing pressure of liquid chamber to a limb at grading being the nearest to the value of squeezing pressure of liquid chamber to a limb at measuring.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of monitoring.
