FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method of express measurement of the arterial pressure, based on artery compression through series of soft tissues by increasing compensating pressure. Thus in the course of compression register amplitude of pressure pulse, preceding the moment of sharp augmentation of pressure pulse amplitude. During the same moment of time register the value of external compensating pressure and accept it for the bottom value of arterial pressure, at occurrence in of a flat part pressure pulse, register two current values of pulse wave amplitude on the line of an interval of time, multiple to the period of pulse pressure. Determine the scale factor equal to the relation of an increment of compensating pressure for the specified interval to a difference of boundary value of pulse wave amplitude, stop the compression and calculate the top value of arterial pressure, adding the sum of the scale factor and value of pressure pulse amplitude registered directly ahead of obtaining the bottom value of arterial pressure to the bottom value.

EFFECT: method allows increasing accuracy and speed of arterial pressure measurement.
