FIELD: medicine, pediatrics, pulmonology.

SUBSTANCE: one should detect the quantity of neutrophils and eosinophils in bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), vital capacity (VC); the content of malonic dialdehyde (MDA) and immunity values - CD3 and CD4. Moreover, it is necessary to calculate the following discriminant equation: 82.7=4.376xA+0.887xB-0.378xC+0.328xD-2.268xE+1.021xF-2.532xG, where A - the quantity of blood leukocytes (x109/l); B - vital capacity (ml); C - MDA value (nM/ml); D - the quantity of CD3 (%); E - the quantity of CD4 (%); F - the quantity of BAL neutrophils (%); G - the quantity of BAL eosinophils (%). In case of the result obtained being <82.7 - one should predict the flow of relapsing bronchitis (RB) with participation of allergic component and high risk of realization into bronchial asthma (BA). In case of >82.7 - one should predict the flow of RB with participation of bacterial component and high risk of realization into chronic bronchitis (CB). The innovation enables to predict RB flow for the purpose to elaborate individual complex of curative-prophylactic measures.

EFFECT: higher reliability of prediction.
