FIELD: equipment for performing adsorption processes for entrapping mist of various acids, for example sulfuric acid in packed columns.

SUBSTANCE: proposed grainy filter has housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes and elements with suspended layers of adsorbent. Baffle plate is mounted in housing behind inlet branch pipe. Elements with suspended layers of adsorbent consist of perforated bearing grates made in form of cylindrical surface or curvilinear surface of second order, for example ellipsoid of revolution. Grates are provided with dampers from below and from above for loading and unloading the adsorbent; in center part they are connected with housing and are interconnected together by means of perforated partition holding the vibrator. Axes of grates are located on surface which is congruent relative to housing.

EFFECT: enhanced degree of cleaning gas flow from target component and dust.
