FIELD: industry of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass composites used in making ceramic brick. Method involves addition of pyrophyllite to the known ceramic mass comprising low-melting clay and metallurgic slag after copper smelting with the content FeO 30-35% in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: low-melting clay, 40-60; metallurgic slag after copper smelting with the content FeO 30-35%, 35-48, and pyrophyllite, 5-12. Using of manufacture waste in producing brick promotes to their utilization, safety of environment and expanding the raw base for building ceramic materials. Invention provides reducing shrinkage and enhancing resistance to cold.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of ceramic mass.
