FIELD: incineration of solid waste.

SUBSTANCE: plant comprises charging device, gasification chamber provide with ports for discharging pyrolysis gas and mounted inside the housing to define the zone for removing pyrolysis gas and supplying it to the incineration chambers and to the external consumer, afterburning chamber, and device for discharging gas products of combustion. One section of the chamber is used for complete burning of the pyrolysis gas, and the other section of the chamber is used for generating gasifying agent and is mounted in the housing for permitting the gasifying agent to flow to the gasification chamber. The plant has deflectors arranged in the afterburning chamber and made of flat belts that embrace the gasifying chamber spirally. The afterburning chambers are mounted at an angle to the screw lines of the deflectors so that the high-temperature and high-velocity combustion products, which are generated at the outlets of the afterburning chambers, enter the passages defined by screw surfaces of the deflectors, and, flowing along the passage, flow around the outer surface of the gasifying chamber.
