FIELD: measurement engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for determining dangerous vibrations for people when moving on vehicles and vessels. Vibration influence is selected onto object of test from frequency, intensity and duration of influence. Vibration is declared to be dangerous at correspondence of current parameters of vibration to preset combination. Device has vibration sensor, calculator, overload direction indicator, overload value indicator, signal processing unit and dangerous vibrations indicator. Sensor has inertial element in form of electro-conducting ball and set of electric terminals. Calculator defines direction and value of overload. Signal processing unit defines dangerous vibration due o comparison of current values of frequency, intensity and duration of vibration to preset values. Signal processing unit has shift registers, AND-NOT gates, AND gates, counters, groups of decoders, OR gates, delay line.

EFFECT: widened area of application.
