FIELD: method for engineering a bus, containing many structural parts, which are different from one another by size, structure or position inside the cross-section of bus.

SUBSTANCE: method includes stages of determining of at least one profile of bus on basis of a group of predetermined dimensional limitations, determining the rest of profiles on basis of relations between dimensional values of structural parts, determining within limits the shape of structural parts, filling each shape with basis component depending on structure of structural part, determined by shape. Method for producing a bus includes provision of possibility for computer-controlled bus production factory to use bus manufacturing commands in accordance to requirements, and also includes storage of functional rules, by means of which a set of geometric shapes interacts with each other depending on given category of exploitation of data in form of relations between constructive limitations or physical and/or dimensional parameters. Method also includes engineering on basis of data, received from client and given constructive data, construction of bus by applying aforementioned rules to certain basic bus.

EFFECT: increased efficiency.
