SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and apparatus for assembling tires and is intended for a method and equipment used to assemble a non-vulcanised tire, which is then subjected to a vulcanisation cycle to obtain a finished article. Method comprises placing carcass sleeve element (12) on workstation (13) shaping, imparting a toroidal shape to carcass sleeve element (12) and its connection to expanding/narrowing toroidal shaping drum (16) in radial direction to form bus (20) in process of manufacturing, and movement of shaping drum (16) along closed picking path (30), having initial working station and final working station, coinciding with working station (13) of shaping. Method includes formation, along closed collection path (30), of each component of corresponding crown structural element of tire (20) in process of manufacturing, in radial direction from outside in relation to tire (20), which is in process of manufacture, to produce unvulcanised tire (41). Corona structural element is at least a set formed by breaker structural element and tread bracelet. Method includes disconnection of unvulcanised tire (41) from shaping drum (16) and gripper of unvulcanised tire (41). Plant comprises working station (13) of shaping, made with possibility of receiving frame hose element (12), at least one expanding / narrowing toroidal shaping drum (16) in radial direction, made with possibility of input into contact interaction on workstation (13) of shaping, and at least one workstation (21) configured to form at least one part of component of corona structural element on radially external surface (S') bus (20), in process of manufacture, formed starting from carcass sleeve element (12), which is shaped and which is attached to shaping drum (16). Corona structural element is at least a set formed by breaker structural element and tread bracelet. Plant comprises transport-loading devices (29) configured to move shaping drum (16) along closed collection track (30) and possibility of arrangement of shaping drum (16) in series near at least one work station (21) to produce unvulcanised tire (41). Closed picking path (30) passes from initial working station to final work station, which coincide with working station (13) of shaping. Besides, the plant comprises gripping device (40) configured to grip unvulcanised tire (41) disconnected from the corresponding shaping drum (16).
EFFECT: enabling production of tires at plants with high level of automation at reduced duration of cycle and reduced spaces, at the same time elements of structure of each assembled tire exactly meet technical requirements.
