FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assembling of tires. Device for tire assembly. Note here that tires represent two different types. Proposed device comprises tire assembly line including multiple work stations arranged to comply with ordered sequence. Note here that every work station allows assembling structural element of the tire. It comprises also tire handler arranged on supports coupled with every work station. It comprises also transfer device to transfer tire from any first work station of said ordered sequence to any second work station not adjoining the former so that tire is carried from first work station to second work station bypassing any work station arranged there between. Invention covers also method of producing tires and selecting tire assembly work station.
EFFECT: higher process flexibility and efficiency.
