FIELD: inorganic compounds technologies and water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coagulants for treatment of industrial and drinking water and cleaning of industrial waste waters, namely for concentrating precipitates before filtration and in other production processes. Nepheline coagulant according to invention, including aluminum, sodium, and potassium salts, and aluminosilicic acid, is characterized by containing 2/3 aluminum ions in salt composition and 1/3 aluminum ions in aluminosilicic acid so that molar ratio of aluminum ions in salt composition to total amount of aluminum ions in coagulant is 2:3. In addition, nepheline coagulant can contain aluminum, sodium, and potassium chlorides and aluminosilicic acid.
EFFECT: improved clarification of treated water.
