FIELD: antifriction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antifriction polymer materials based on phenolic plastics and can be used in instrumentation engineering, ship building, and other technical fields for manufacturing friction unit parts, e.g. slider bearings, or parts of sealing means of movable connections of pipeline equipment operated without lubricants. Antifriction self-lubricating press material according to invention contains 93-94.5% crushed phenol plastic based on novolac phenol-formaldehyde resin, 4-5% silver graphite, and 1.5-2.0% calcium stearate. Phenolic plastic is crushed to fineness less than 0.2 mm.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance and preserved low coefficient of friction when material is operated in heavy-duty units.
