FIELD: engineering of complex controlling and monitoring systems, namely, onboard systems for controlling serviceability and diagnostics of failures of attended and unattended accumulator batteries of various (mobile and stationary) objects on basis of computerized equipment.
SUBSTANCE: automated system for control and diagnostics of accumulator batteries consists of computer, connected to external system for controlling object; printer, signaling device, device for controlling current and voltage of accumulator battery, including block for processing information, voltage indicator, current indicator, standard voltage indicator; accumulator battery, connected through current indicator to load and simultaneously to charging device of accumulator battery and including accumulators; devices for controlling parameters of accumulators, mounted on each cell jar of accumulator battery, indicators of level and temperature of electrolyte, indicators of accumulator EMF, mounted in inter-electrode space of cell jars of accumulators, and standard voltage indicators.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities and increased trustworthiness of results of control and diagnostics due to complex checking of all accumulators by voltage on cell jar, of a selected portion of accumulators by EMF, level and temperature of electrolyte, by voltage of accumulator battery as a whole, by load current and charge current of accumulator battery, improved by calculation of values of electrolyte density, isolation resistance, capacity, time left until exhaustion of accumulator battery charge, prediction of remaining resource and service time of accumulator battery and in conjunction with automation of operation process of accumulator batteries as a whole.
