FIELD: radio engineering, technologies and devices for searching in wideband code division multiple access system.
SUBSTANCE: in one aspect, received signal is correlated with a set of codes on a set of temporal intervals for production of energy of code/temporal interval, appropriate for each pair of code/temporal interval. Unique subsets of energies of code/temporal interval are added for producing energies of series of codes, maximal value of which shows detected series of codes and boundary of temporal interval. In another aspect, correlation is performed by means of sub-correlation of received signal with common series and of execution of fast Hadamard transformation on results. In one more aspect, single sub-correlator may be utilized for finding boundaries of code/temporal interval.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of search in asynchronous systems, resulting in lower costs, higher detection speed, higher capacity of data transfer channel, increased data transfer channel capacity, improved efficiency of system as a whole.
