FORGING FOUR-STRIKER APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B21J7/16 B21J13/04 

FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly forging ingots and billets of different steels and alloys in hydraulic forging presses.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two holders of upper and lower strikers with inclined surfaces and two holders of lateral strikers kinematically coupled with first two holders. Holders of lateral strikers have inclined surfaces corresponding to inclined surfaces of holders of upper and lower strikers. Holders of lateral strikers are mounted on lateral surfaces of holders of upper and lower strikers with use of eight П-shaped cross section guides. Strikers are mounted in holders. Two guides of holders of upper and lower strikers are secured to holder of lower striker symmetrically at both sides. Said guides have П-shaped cross section, they embrace apparatus at lateral and front sides and have movable contact with guides of holders of lateral strikers. Guides of holders of upper and lower strikers have windows in lateral sides in front of holders of lateral strikers for passing holders at opening apparatus.

EFFECT: improved design of apparatus.
