FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: forging device includes four heads installed on holders of upper and lower heads and on holders of side heads. The lower and/or upper head is provided with a system of its movement relative to the holder. The movement system includes an intermediate plate attached by means of a hold-down clip and tension pins to the head base. In the intermediate plate and in the head holder there installed is at least one screw rigidly attached by means of a nut to a worm wheel that is engaged with a worm shaft. The latter is connected to a motor to provide the movement of the intermediate plate along the vertical axis of the device at rotation of the screw. The head holder and the intermediate plate have a possibility of installation between them of at least one adjustment plate.

EFFECT: simpler design of the device; reduction of its overall dimensions and improvement of its reliable and safe operation.
