FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used in forging ingots and billets at hydraulic forging presses. Proposed device comprises two holders of top and bottom hammers and two lateral hammer holders articulated therewith. Holders are provided with appropriate inclined surfaces. Top and bottom hammer holders are provided with bosses with three bores. Springs are arranged in said bores made along axis of lengthwise symmetry of proposed device. Centering guides are arranged in said bores. Antifriction plates arranged on inclined surfaces of top and bottom hammer holders feature "П"-like cross section. Device incorporates also lateral opening guides rigidly secured on rectangular walls of lateral hammer holders to cover side sections of antifriction plates.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
