FIELD: building, particularly pile foundations or sheet-pile enclosures or retaining walls to be erected in sites with free ground water flow.
SUBSTANCE: method involves lowering spaced piles in ground up to design mark to create sheet-pile enclosure or retaining wall. To provide control of free ground water horizon flow through the sheet-pile enclosure or retaining wall above sheet piles made as solids of revolution and provided with tips in lower pile parts and screw auger on outer pile surfaces are driven transversely to ground water flow direction to open ground water flow between adjacent piles. Additional piles are driven in ground between main piles. Additional piles have screw augers to drill areas between main piles. Excavated ground is substituted for filtering member by reverse auger rotation. The filtering member is formed of non-soluble granular material, which does not erode under the action of water. Granular mix of the filtering member is selected to prevent suffusion, contact uplift and mudding of filtering pile body.
EFFECT: possibility to maintain natural ground water flow regime during enclosure of retaining wall erection, to retain hydrological regime and ground characteristics in ground areas adjoining the enclosure.
