FIELD: military equipment, in particular, construction of armored protection designed for counteraction to shaped-charge ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: the dynamic protection for counteraction to shaped-charge ammunition has a body accommodating blocks consisting of metal plates with an explosive charge positioned between them. Each block is provided with a detonator positioned in the center of an explosive charge layer and transducers for fixing the solid angle of approach of the cumulative jet to the plate surface in the point of contact of the cumulative jet with the plate fastened on the surfaces of the plates adjoining the explosive charge at distances within 2 to 5 mm from one another.
EFFECT: enhanced level of protection of the armored equipment against the action of shaped-charge ammunition due to the use of transducers and a detonator with the aid of which initiation of the explosive of the adjacent blocks positioned in the trace of the projection of the cumulative jet to the protected surface of the armor is possible, all this ensures a more effective action on the tail elements of the penetrating cumulative jet.
