FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: protecting the towers of armored combat vehicles from destruction. The proposed technical solution is based on the physical possibility, along with the main dynamic charges located on the armor, use additional dynamic protection charges placed in mesh screens at a distance from the armor, above the upper projection of armored combat vehicles. The dynamic protection from explosives built into the mesh screens is pressed onto a substance that increases the detonation threshold, applied to the intersection of steel wires connected by welding, to which, before pressing the explosives into the places of maximum pressure and rupture of the contact welding joint, instantaneous contact capsule fuses are glued.
EFFECT: simplified design.
