SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating human esophageal cancer or that of the area of esophageal connection with a stomach or gastric cancer due to peroral intake of the combination of tegafur and uracil at the dosage of tegafur being about 100-500 mg/sq. m/d in molar ratio of tegafur and uracil being 1:4; peroral intake of 0.1-500 mg/kg/d folinic acid or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt; intravenous injection of paclitaxel and carboplatin at the dosage of about 10-300 mg/sq.m and 100-500 mg/sq. m, correspondingly, moreover, paclitaxel and carboplatin should be introduced on the 1^st d of a 28-d-long cycle, and tegafur, uracil and folinic acid or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt - on the 2^nd - 22^nd d. Moreover, the interval during the 23d -28^th d of the cycle is considered to be the rest period. Moreover, therapeutic scheme should be repeated, at least, once. The innovation provides efficient treatment of cancer and good tolerance due to increased activity of paclitaxel and carboplatin at their combination with the above-mentioned preparations, and softer introduction of chemopreparations against known ways of their application.
