FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine repair equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device for shifting internal combustion engine in process of repair contains spatial-frame construction made in form of turnover device, engine removal and resetting fastening unit in form of detachable plate, locks in form of spring-loaded pins and hex prism. Side mated faces of prism are hinge-coupled in pairs with shifting hydraulic cylinders. Turnover device is formed by front and rear vertical frames connected into spatial construction by two tubular horizontal longitudinal girders with brackets and attachment members. Turnover device is mounted on roller supports installed in upper part of platform. Roller support of turnover device are installed on support plate. Said plate engages with shaft through bearing. Shaft is rigidly installed on upper face of articulated hex prism. Disk with radial holes engaging with spring-loaded pin is installed on support plate.
EFFECT: improved conditions of repair owing to increased range of shafting of engine under repair.
