FIELD: engineering of fire alarm related systems.
SUBSTANCE: device for testing smoke fire annunciators contains smoke generator, connected to measuring chamber, inside of which ventilators are positioned, sockets for smoke fire annunciators, blocks of emitter and photo-detector, electrically connected to smoke meter. Sockets for smoke fire annunciators are evenly installed on surfaces of measuring chamber. Blocks of emitter and photo-detector are positioned near each other, and on distance, maximally remote from these two, reflector is mounted with possible receipt of optical signal emitted by emitter block and transfer of distorted optical signal to photo-detector block with following transformation of optical signal to electric signal, and also draining ventilator is provided for removing smoke from measuring chamber.
EFFECT: increased precision of determining of environment smoke saturation level, of activation threshold of smoke fire annunciators and optimization of dimensions of measuring chamber.
