FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method involves mobilizing fractured bone fragments. The medullary canal is drilled. The bone fragments are intramedullarily fixed with a rod having one end threaded and flat widening on the other end. The rod is introduced through the hole in sternal clavicle end so that the rod end goes as far as the proximal fragment end is surpassed. The bone fragments are set. The rod is moved until its flat part becomes positioned on bone surface and the threaded end becomes visible from the hole on the posterior clavicle end. Overlay member with tube is put on over the threaded end coming from the posterior clavicle surface, the tube being arranged at an angle to the overlay member. A nut is screwed over the threaded rod end to achieve fractured bone fragments compression. The rod is blocked with screws introduced into flat rod end widening from front to back and with tube from back to front in overlay. The device has compressing nut, rod, screws, and removable overlay member with tube. The tube is arranged at an angle to the overlay member. The rod has one end threaded and the other end has flat widening covering bone and having hole for receiving screw. The tube is put on over the threaded rod end. The metal rod has circular cross-section.

EFFECT: prevented fractured bone fragments rotation displacement.
