FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has supporting platform for thoracic vertebral column segment to be supported, lift mechanism, pivoting frame having guide members, pedal for controlling the lift mechanism operation and lumbar rest member. The lumbar rest member is spring-loaded parallelogram mechanism formed by two vertical control rods and four horizontal control rods connected to each other with hinges on corresponding horizontal axles. The upper inclined control rods are articulated with one end to the upper supporting rest member and rigidly connected to the pivoting frame. The lower inclined control rods are articulated with one end to the lower supporting rest member. A vertical control rod is connected to the control pedal. The supporting platform has rollers and is mounted on the pivoting frame allowing upward and down ward movement along the guide members by means of flexible links to the lower inclined control rods. Dorsal and elbow rest members are mounted on the platform. The lumbar rest member is mounted on the pivoting frame.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
