FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and are intended for traction of spine, reconstruction of intervertebral discs and correction of relative position of vertebrae. Installation includes frame with mechanism for spine traction, panel for head and panel for leg shins, support surfaces for patient's body. Mechanism for spine traction represents multisectional hinge-lever mechanism in form of Nuremberg scissors, which consists of hingedly connected links and is made with possibility of moving apart/moving together along frame by means of drive. Support surfaces for patient's body are connected with mechanism for traction of spine by means of vertical supports, installed on axes of hinges of mechanism for spine traction and made with possibility of movement of support surface for patient's body in vertical plane. Panels for head and leg shins are fixed on frame immovably or on the side, connected with axis of one of hinges with possibility of movement on frame surface. Upper hinges of hinge-lever mechanism are made with possibility of movement on rollers. Lower hinges are connected with vertical supports and ensure their movement. Group of inventions includes method of said installation application, in which traction and elongation of spine are performed in uniform and dosed way.

EFFECT: uniform traction of spine, as well as possibility of strictly dosed impact on patient's spine.
