FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: one should fulfill two corneal paracenteses at 3 and 9 o'clock position and through one of them it is necessary to carry out continuous circular capsulorhexis. Then one should introduce an irrigation tip of phacoemulsifier into one of these paracenteses, and into another one - an aspiration tip to conduct the removal of lenticular masses of anterior cortical lenticular layer, peripheric lenticular masses and posterior lenticular masses. Then the aspiration tip should be applied under lenticular nucleus, and the irrigation tip should be placed above the nucleus and due to moving towards each other it is necessary to divide the nucleus into parts. One should broaden one of these paracenteses for introducing an ultrasound tip followed by lenticular phacoemulsification to implant IOL. The innovation is efficient way for removing natural lens in case of narrow pupil at implanting IOL and provides the decrease of postoperational complications at achieving maximally possible optic results.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
