FIELD: heat exchange, in particular, construction of chains for rotary kilns of industry of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: three modifications of the construction are offered. According to the first modification, the chain links are made hollow of any geometric shape with the ratio of the cross-section area of the cavity to the cross-section area of the link (the cavity inclusive) makes up 3 to 60%. According to the second modification, the chain links are made of any geometric shape at least with one depression positioned on the link surface so that the ratio of the mass of the removed material to the initial mass of the link makes up 3 to 60 % at the minimum cross-section of the link being at least 70% of the cross-section of the initial link. According to the third modification, the chain links are made hollow of any geometric shape, or at least one depression positioned on the link made surface, the ratio of the mass of the removed material in the hollow link and in the link made with depressions to the initial mass of the link makes up 3 to 60%.
EFFECT: intensified heat exchange, reduced specific consumption of materials and dust-forming capacity, as well as reduced consumption of heat for calcinations.
